Just heard I won 2nd prize in the Poetry Competition for my poem Requiem in Absentia. So delighted! I wrote it for a patient of David’s. She lived until she was 105 and her life was centred around music but there was no music at her funeral. The poem will be published on the R C Sherriff website https://www.rcsherrifftrust.org.uk/and Elmbridge Borough Council website. I shall put it up on this site too.
